Instructor: Joel Patterson To familiarize participants with current complexities faced by agents, insureds, and the restoration contractor during the claim. Issues that will be addressed will include: unknown causes, undetermined causes, denial of coverage, limited coverage situations, cause and origin issues, total loss contents, growth/mold, asbestos, lead, smoke and odor, emergency response versus repair and restoration, claim handling, claim approval, supplements, permits, issue resolution, the shared roles of agents, insureds and the restoration contractor, ethical issues.
